Custom Radiator Guards
« on: May 14, 2009, 10:01:08 PM »

As promised in conversation with two of my heroes on this forum newbymick and zoran, I've manage to hold a company at gun point  ;) and demanded them to make a design on the Radiator Guard for the Hyo 650 which they had no choice but to accept. This one is the plain chrome of my design and taste for now, I'm waiting for them to get back to me because I've requested for a graphic on the guard which will have GT650 on it and for those that have the GTR could have GTR650 or GT650S and so on. I then asked them if I would to introduce more customer would there be a choice and style for the individual and he said yes and the more that are interested the discount would be made and yes he would import to the States, Aus and anywhere else  :o.
I will be putting it on the bike on Tuesday cause of work but here is a pic of it please let me know if you like it and if you are interested, Oh! And the company is called MTC Exhaust and the Gentleman in question, his name is Martin.

Looks good!  What kind of price are we talking about (ballpark)?

Pretty cool, having the options for personalized logos on the guards.

Hi mate Cheers for that.
The actual price is £30 for a plain Guard and £40 for a graphic guard I'm not sure what that is in USD (Mike if you could help me out ;D). Monday or Tuesday I will be placing it on and take pic's for you to see what it looks like and it just doesn’t stop with that design you could have the grill cut out in the style of diamonds all done by laser and also different metal types I.e. polish chrome Stainless steel and so on. And one more thing the template is already done so those with the 650 can order the plane ones when they’re ready but the graph one will not be ready for at least a months time.
Martin also make the guards for Aprilia, Suzuki, Honder and Now HYOSUNG!!! And many other makes

Hmmmm - stereotypes - see there is an advantage to being big, black and ugly   ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

I'm in on this one.  The rad does get a battering from stones coming up from the road (go on take a look now - you'll see 2 vertical lines on your rad).

They make some nice look exhaust cans as well - couldn't see one for a Hyosung though. ;)
