When I had my clutch and clutch cable replaced under warranty, i put the bike in at 8am monday and got it back 3pm tuesday all done.

All parts were genuine Hyosung and were all ordered from Hyosung after they inspected my bike... so less than 48hr service is pretty good for my standards...

keith I can attest to it being 48 hours.

ordered a CDI unit for one of our 250's under warranty tuesday and showed up to work today and it was sitting on our counter.  Oh ya and it was late tuesday night when i submitted the warranty claim, like 7:30 PM.  So I'd say thats a pretty fast turn around time.

Could be a couple of things:

It's possible that shipping from GA to CA takes longer than to the east coast dealers.

It's possible that while they may get the part quickly, that during riding season they can't schedule the work in their shop for two weeks.  My shop is currently three weeks to a month out, although I do try to push warranty work to the front of the line.

It's also possible that they are waiting for the warranty guy to get back from vacation.  I have an issue with a shipping-damaged bike that I've had problems getting the part for simply because he's on vacation.  Someone else was trying to take care of me and promised me that the part would ship Thursday.  I'll know if the part got out when my shipping arrives on Tuesday.  (We're closed on Monday)

SF Moto is a great shop!  I'm sure they'll take good care of you.
