Maybe the 13 sec GT250R time was with NOS?  :P

I found a time logged as 16.58 seconds and terminal speed of 75.6 mph
I will try to beat it one day!

I expect the R will be faster to the 1/4 mile having a fairing so expect the Naked
will just about do 17 seconds then.

That's Ok as still as fast as the 2.0 Diesel car I have.

16.6-16.8 mph at around 85 mph trap speed for the 250.  You won't see a 650 1/4 mile test because the American mags like Cycle World and Motorcyclist, as well as Sport Rider will not test the 650.  I think they are afraid it will disprove their preconceived notions of a crap bike.  Called Hoyer out at Cycle World on it, no response.

not sure the R will be faster with the same rider/gearing etc as it's heavier than the naked bike.

only by 5kg or so, but it's still heavier.

the "R" would be slighty heavier but also the fairing would allow the wind to flow off the bike better.

13sec............. cashy22 your a dreamer.

Even the 4cyl 250 honda & kwaka's arent going that fast and they are by far faster than the hyo 250.
I managed to get a 13sec run on my gt650r with the mods you "apparently" have on ur 250cc.......
Even NOS wouldn't get you a 13sec it would just rev u to red line and blow ur motor up..... lol
A slip doesnt really prove anything seeing as you can just grab someone else's off the ground. lol
But please prove me wrong i would love to see a hyosung 250cc do a 13sec run.:-)
