NSW ride
« on: August 04, 2006, 10:51:36 AM »

ok i know its a while to go yet but i'm in the process of organising a few rides later on this year when it starts to warm up a bit and when i get my bike, but i'm just sussing out how many riders would possibly be interested. They wouldnt be quick trips but an all day deal; all meet up somewhere (possibly the shop) then go to nowra, bathurst, newcastle ect.

an example would be the bathurst run; start at aitkens then out to penrith, richmond then go the back way up through the blue mountains through bilpin on bells line road. through the main street of lithgow then out to bathurst for lunch (bbq or book a pub) after lunch or befor do a few laps of mt panoramar then head home, all you'd have to pay for is your fuel, lunch and what ever speeding fines you get

any thoughts on this?

Sounds like one hell of a good ride. Just got to watch old around the track at Bathusrt cause it's all a 60Km/h zone.

Bells Line Road is sweet as, haven't seen a road more fun yet.

at this point the first ride is lookin at the october mark so should be nice warm weather which would make the blue mountains ride amazing!
*crossing fingers* now i just have to save my ar$e off cause i found out i can get a spankin new GT650R at a very pleasing price

just to get an idea lunch wise, what would you guys prefer a BBQ or a proper lunch like at a pub or something?
for example a BBQ every one chip in like $5- $10 and that'll cover food and drinks (BYO booze) or the pub where you you pay for what you order, no ones making any money out of this and i'll be chipping in to but its just a way of making a ride better than what it can be
