Mine is also a 2010. Not sure where the replacement came from.

Minus the couple electric issues I've had, its been running fine. Surprisingly, the efi isn't an issue

Side stand switches pre 2012 have a flaw, not in the switch but in the mounting position on the bike.
The plunger is not pressed in far enough.

That shouldn't matter. The problem is the bike cutting out because it thinks that it is pushed in far enough to think the switch is down. I think its a bad spit because of all the road grime. I might see about putting on an old bracket from my scrap pile as a shield. Well see. Its gonna be a little bit. I decided to take the few fairings I have off and re paint the bike. Lol so A.D.D.
