Great post very helpful..... Just a note for the 2008 GT650R comet we only have one AIS spent the better part of 10 minutes looking for the rear one that wasn't there haha!   ;D
Yeah they dropped it while they were trying to work out why the engines were exploding it was back in 09.

Sorry if this sounds really dumb.

But what exactly does doing this mod do to the bike?
I`m really new at all of this and would just like to learn as I go along.

It stops the loud popping you get when throttling off and is especially noticeable when you change the exhaust to an open design it is really like a backfiring sound
