Now this could most likely be a simple battery problem but i thought id just double check.

Basically the bike has been making a groaning sound recently when starting ad is even more reluctant to start when i have the headlight switched on. Also with the lights switched on the horn makes a none existant buzz.

Now come to stat it today and it did its usual groaning sound, and then the groaning stopped ad all it does ismke a clicking/buzzing sound.

Now am i righ in thinking m battey has had it? or could it be some major electrical fault.

Lights and everything work, but it wont start.

Also the battery charger says its full. Battery is the orginal one so its about 4.5 years old now.

Please some more info, like age of bike, Miles on it so we have someidea as to the condition of the bike; that said, sounds like;
1) Old/bad battery = replace
2) Bad/corroded wiring = clean and dry the bike then go over all the wiring and check continuity

Just tried it again and i have no lights at all now. So will try a new battery first.

Bike is 4 years old (2006 plate) and its on he original battery.

14,500 miles, condition is fine, its garaged so isn't really exposed to the elmements much.
