I was poking around under the front seat today to see how my stapling job is holding up and I found an o-ring hanging there by the battery. Has anyone else found one ?

I was thinking maybe they give you a spare one for something. It's prbably about 75mm diameter.

There was one which was holding stock case with tools. Screwdriver, spark-key and 10/12 metrick one.

Found the same one.  Mine migrated under the front seat near the battery along with a 10/12mm made in china wrench!  Shocked
CodeMonkey, can you detail how it's supposed to secure the tools?

I found one under my rear seat too, wasn't there B4 the bike went in for service. I thort perhaps it was the O ring off the oil filter, to prove they replaced it, but it's kinda a bit big.? not sure how big the filter is.?
Motorhedfred, what stapling job did U do, did U recover ur seat.?
I recovered mine in grey leather, and added a strap to the pillion seat, to clip my glasses under whilst bike is warming up, and I'm puting my lid on. Also good for a quick helmet hang up.

Sorry it took so long to reply. I showed what I did to my seat on another thread.

This is the stapler I used...

It's powerful enough to drive the staples all the way in if you push the seat tight against something heavy and solid.
