How good is your Hyosung? 2010 - 2011
« on: January 17, 2011, 03:35:01 PM »

Hi all,

I'm curious to get some feedback on how happy Hyosung riders are with their bikes over the years.  I'll set up a few polls so please vote in the poll that corresponds with your bike's model year (not necessarily the year of manufacture).

The more people we get voting, the more representative the polls will be.  Just be honest.

Happy riding,

Bukefal

i've got the 2010 model and voted excellent.  i think the 2011 models are absolutely identical except for different colour schemes.

apart from crap chain...... tyres that split and cracked in under 1000 miles..... and a random stalling problem that no one seems to be able to fix, I said was a good bike.
I will be quitting it soon for an R6.

I voted good. My biggest disappointment is the clutch that makes a groan when its cold for the first take off.
I've had a seal in a front brake calliper replaced and the temp sender for the thermo fan as well, both under warranty and no hassles getting it done.

;)  hyo. bukefal, thought we,d get a few more votes. imo, basic service, and maintainence issues are the realm of all makes and models. it,s the repetitive break-downs that are the issue. it,s been said over and over, read test reviews, forums, ask the riders of the bike you may get .home- work kids! class dismissed.

One of the plates are slightly smaller and different, next time you repack ur clutch plates, use all the normal sizes, and u'll get better start off. (one of the mech who used to work on race bikes over here's advice to me regarding the clutch on the hyo)

@hotdiggerty, yeah i though more people would vote too (given the number of views the threads are getting).  i asked one of the mods if we can put these up as stickies so i'm waiting to hear back.  agree that regular maintenance is vital for any bike.  i suspect many riders (especially younger and less-informed riders) break-in their bikes properly.  i'm sure many of them give them hell even when the bikes are brand new.
