cdfisher, that was cool of you to swap out the fairing on that R model.  I'm sure you had one happy customer.

Where you refering to this post from a long term owner?

Very interesting comments about straight line acceleration.  I'm not great at reading dyno charts but it looks like the GT makes more power earlier than the SV.  Curtis, I will have to read you article about dyno's when I get a chance.  I'm sure that would bring me up to speed.

Do you have a picture of the dyno comparison you can post here?  I do not want to steel motorcycle.com's pic.  Maybe I will email them for permission.

As far as the pricing on the Hyosungs, I agree that lowering the price is not the answer.  The answer is marketing.

It reminds me of the story I heard about the Acura Legend.  Great car.  When acura came out with it they priced it very low compared to other cars of that quality and finish.  It did not sell very well.  They then overhauled the marketing campaign to stress its luxury status and raised the price and they sold like hot cakes.

Crazy world.

Also, realestate investors say if the house does not sell raise the price, don't lower it.  You then attract a different buyer searching in a different price range.
