Hyosung 2006 rally sf 50 problem with rev limiter
« on: September 04, 2011, 04:39:11 PM »

Hey i have a rally scooter, only 800km on the odometer.
My cdi has two connectors one with 2 wires and one with 4 wires,
There is one black w/ white stripe and one black wire, i cut the right one regarding to all the tutorials i've read, but after i cut it the scooter won't start so i tried another wire but after that it wouldnt start either, i tried all of the wires but i couldnt get it to start... i know that i cut the right one, and i know that my cdi is limited because i can hear it "bounce" when i accelerate, it does now 50km/h with the variator ring removed and 5.5g rollers installed (stock 6,5g)
but it accelerates very poorly.

any thoughts ppl?

sorry for my bad language, i'm swedish...

Never cut the wires. Just press a straight pick into the connector and gently pull the wire you want to disconnect from the plug. One wire will disable the firing while the other will remove the rev limiter. It is either the black or black/white depending on the year and model.
