You bet.  We will have to ride together for sure.  I totally forgot you lived there until I saw you on twtex.com.  It will be good to know someone out there...

So whats the best part of Houston to live in?  Considering I like anything with two wheels...

If you have young, out going, urban and exciting life style, look for Montrose, Midtown, Museum District, Medical District.
If you are more tree hugging, artsy, hippish, organic person, The Heights fits you, maybe Montrose, too.(I live in The Heights, thought I'm not all that).
Non of these, suburbs.
Katy, Sugarland and The Woodlands.
Hope this helps.
Ask me anything you want to know.

Yeah, they are nicer and safer ones.
If you wanna get more demographic info, you can use http://www.bestplaces.net/nhood/
It'll tell you most neighborhood's info.
I use that at work all the time. ;)

That site is great!!

Median home prices are $120,000 vs $250,000 here in the stink'n Land of Lincoln. 8O

I'll take 2 thanks!

I can ride all year long.  Man, I hope my wife gets the job!

I will recommend you woodlands.
It has better roads in closer area and little more exciting than other suburbs. But really it's all upto where your wife gets her job. Freeways in Houston have pretty bad traffic during rush hours.
I'm glad that site worked for you.
Let me know whatever I can help.

Thanks for the tip.

My wife will have a traveling job and most of the stores she will visit are on the North side of Houston so Woodlands sounds perfect for her.

Is there a tech corridor in Houston?  I am in the Quality Assurance field and will need to find a job.  Looks like there are quite a few out there.

Is Lake Conroe cool?  Might be to far north...

It is.
There's an awesome route called The Forest.
Conroe is a very pretty area to live.
Bit far away from Houston.
Woodlands's kinda in between.
Post at TWS, some people probably can give you better advise about the job.
I'll ask my friend who's in similar field as well.
:)
