Must admit, I like the look of the new CFMoto 650MT adventure style bike shown at recent bike shows, but they are marketed by WK Bikes in UK, and there are no dealers within a reasonable distance of me - sound familiar?!  :-\

Search CFMoto adventure or see here, maybe I'd do without the big panniers.....

By the way, they got a fourth at this years TT Races, so maybe they are up and coming??  They are possibly one of the few Asian makes to tackle Euro 4 regulations too?  ;)

It maybe worth noting that the bikes they run in the TT have little in common with the mass produced Bikes you buy from the dealer. You wont find many Chinese bikes with genuine Ohlins fitted and that just for starters..!

Essientially they are cheap Kawasaki Copies..I bought a non-running 1999 ZZR 600, which i have upgraded the brakes, suspension and engine still puts out 99 bhp at the rear wheel and is in to me for 1500 it has taken me to Germany and the south of France via Le mans so why on earth would you  want to buy a chinese motorcycle for more..

This is not a critisim of you sir, simply a observation of fact Jap bikes are just better period. even pre owned ones.

However ther koreans once looked on target to change that with GT650X and the new GD250 bears more than just a resemblence to that long awaited motorcycle that never came.

Yep - fair comment!

My next bike will probably be a Kawasaki Versys, Honda CB500x or maybe the rumoured BMW G310GS if its not too small. I suspect only one of those is made in the home factory......Honda built in Thailand and small beemers in India.

Time will tell!! ;)

Hi

I have the CF650TR, and it's a cracking bike, great for motorway & distance runs, apart from that it could benefit from a larger tank. Unfortunately it doesn't look like CFMoto are going to Euro 4 either the TR or the TR-G (Met up with someone last year, who rode a TR-G from China to the UK (And back again) he said the bike ran very well indeed, I think by the time he got back to China, he'd covered around 40000kms, and only had to replace the usual consumables. No technical issues with the bike.

I ended up with a Honda CB500X, just running it in just now, but so far so good, and a really good sized 'adventure' bike for me!!
