Vacuum and fuel line routing????
« on: January 28, 2014, 11:14:47 PM »

Good evening everyone.
My bike is now very nearly complete after a full rebuild. Only issue is I am having a few issues remembering where the fuel lines and vacuum lines go. I have spent hours searching the internet and here. I have come across a couple of helpful posts but they still leave me unfinished.
Please can someone help by telling me where the vacuum lines and fuel lines connect to. Even better still, pictures would be great.
Please, please, please help as I have spent two years rebuilding this. Its so close to being ready. Attached are a couple of pictures as it stands.

You wouldn't happen to have been selling that on eBay last year were you?
If you were or if you are the buyer of said bike, that is an awesome build. Taking everything apart down to bear minimum and slowly building and polishing on your way back up, it looks beautiful :)
I'm in the middle of putting my first ever hyo back together (project bike birthday present :p ) so I should be able to rustle some pictures up for you if you can hold on till tomorrow if anyone else hasn't replied to this.
Sorry that this doesn't help, I should be able to be more on-point tomorrow if no one has replied to this by then :)
Once again, fantastic bike dude :D

It certainly was for sale last year. I decided not to sell in the end as it was clear I wasn't going to get the price I wanted. Spent way to much time and money just to give it away. In the last couple of weeks it's had a new engine as well! Thanks for your comments though. Appreciated.
If you could provide pictures, that would be very useful and I would be very grateful.
Cheers.

No pictures right now but i can get some in a couple of weeks for you, if your looking at the top pf the carb you should have undermeath the fuel drain off pipes one to each float chamber then the join, on top of the carb on the closest end to the battery is 1 single input thats the fuel in and then (if you havent taken off) there should be the breather pipe that is on top running to the back of the bike attached to both carbs do not block this as its important, regardsthe fuel pump i cant honestly remember inputs hope some one can help some more and this helps a little, as i say if not ill get you some pics in a couple weeks when im free

Sorry buddy, I'm waiting for some loctite 3020 to arrive so I can finish rebuilding my engine. Annoyingly I don't have any images already and it won't make sense taking pictures with everything apart.
I'll see if I can make a video of where everything goes on Friday :)

I have borrowed a couple of pictures of google and labelled them. If someone would be kind enough to say a goes to f or whatever I would really appreciate it as I want to get it running at some point through the weekend.
