Just to go to work and back on the days its needed. It's not so perfect but I like to try to the best I can with what I have. I see no point doing a "oh that will do" sort of job.

Anyway, if you find yourself with a busted gear lever:







Excess thread is cut off, rubber sleeve will do for now till I find something better.

Precisely, its not fitted to the bike, so it will do till I find something better, then fit it.

I found some time to fit new iridium plugs, new battery and fresh oil.





Maybe in another four years it might fire up  ;D.

Almost there it seems!


Hmmm sort of. I plan to get the exhaust and oil cooler on maybe next weekend. Then I can sit the carbs on and hopefully get it to fire.

Horn bracket needs a quick paint hence its not fitted.

Sure, you can roughly see one side in the last photo. The other is on the opposite site of that cylinder. I'll get one tomorrow, any reason why?
