Yep you can just see it below the inlet on the right. I'll grab you another angle when I'm next in the garage.

Set of carbs built up ready to go on. Jetted using the Mikuni vm28/486/17.5 pilots and 90 in front 92.5 in rear.
The set on the right are for sale if anyone is interested. Standard jets but all screws replaced with stainless caps and copper grease.

Airbox is also ready to go after a filter change and again, stainless cap screw  ;).

How many times did you clean the carbs?

...remember that 17 is the minimum number of times before you finally find some microscopic piece of crap in a jet.

It was a long time ago I cleaned them up which was a couple of goes in my ultrasonic cleaner. They have been stood in a box ever since. I got them fitted to the bike but the throttle teaser was sticking every other time I blipped it.

Anyway I remember using copper grease on the brass thread so it came off really easy. I took the carbs off, cleaned it out again and there was some white residue on the bottom of it (probably from the cleaner moons ago).

They are now refitted and greased up. Most of my time was taken re-programming the alarm and chasing wiring around wondering why the fuel sender unit was not working. I quickly took it apart and bent the sender arm slightly to touch the wire coil.

Hopefully I can get the vacuum pipes on tomorrow.

Thanks Sid, I agree it would. I struggle for time to work on it as much I'd like to.

So much has gone in these past two days and lots more to be done but it does now live.
