Excellent news buddy..... ;D
You've really done well on this. I'm getting too old for all that malarky these days and wouldn't have the patience anymore.... ;)

It's been YEARS. Incentive for me to get about making the boosted bike to live again!

Slowly slowly. Time has been very limited lately.

The sun came out and I was able to try on my painted rear sets:

Time to order some more stainless cap screws.

I serviced the footpegs:

Then fitted them:

I've lost the exhaust hanger rubber, I've looked through all the boxes but I can't find it. I then remembered I had some poly bushes left from the subframe on a Mini. I will have to tinker with them but they look promising:

Looking good Joss.

Those rubber parts should be the same across all the capacities/years.

Yeah but the original that was in the bike (all them years ago) I did manage to find.... It was melted rubber  :'(. Just adds to the confirmation that this was burnt out at some point. Where my new replacement is I do not know.

Gear lever installed, clutch adjusted up and tested. Had to whip the carbs off as only one was flowing with petrol, used the airline and this cured it. Back to running nicely again.

I had a slight disaster with the polybush route and as such will need to repaint the hanger. I did find the part code for the hanger rubber but I dont think its stocked anywhere near by "09320-14015".
