My clutches were problematic than bought EBC Kevlar kit about 1 month ago.
So far, its ok. cust cable adjustment has changed. Now the clutch lever completly split when really close to handlebar. Its a bit anoying. Thats all.

Fully Synthetic oil is makes the bikes servis life longer. Besides just protecting first start's scratches is enough to choose fully synthetic oil
What is this? When your bikes wait till morning. All the oil glides from piston. So piston works with no oil in a few miliseconds.
Thats gives some small scratches to piston. Estimated that this gives damage to pistons about to riding bike 300km.
Its not very big problem but what about if your pistons gets thats scratches every mornin. Than those are becomes really important after 100.000km.

Using fully synthetic oil gives you much more protection. If you be gentle you can go over +300.000km without cylinder and piston replacement.

I am using scottoiler for lubricating chain. And have hand made dual injector which cost 1$.It worked awsome on my long trip.
Using gear oil to lubricate. Gasoline to clean sprocket.
So far i am using original chain.

I've got 11,645 KM on my 2010 GT650, bought it with just under 9,000 KM in May, I don't get to ride it as much as I like since I've started a new job, I only ride on the weekends.

My wife rides a 2010 GT250 Comet--about 14,500 miles.  Previous owner put ~9600 miles on it, he replaced the clutch cable ("hanging up"), front brake pads (worn out), and the tires (ditto).  Other than fresh oil (synthetic 10W-40) every 2500 miles and new plugs at ~10K, we've done nothing.

We did a track day this week...she did 40+ laps on a roadcourse without a problem.  Last few laps, she rode the track like a race and REALLY wrung it out...WOT, shifted at redline, dragged both knee protectors, ran it to redline in high gear.  It didn't miss a beat.  No special track prep aside from fresh oil.  A couple of people had never seen a Hyo before and seemed kind of impressed...especially when told it was only a 250!

Do all Hyo 250's dound like a wound-out dirt bike at full throttle, or did the PO do something to the exhaust on hers?

I always thought they sounded like a cross between a Ducati and a chain saw.

On the clock only about > 60,000, but it is really about >110,000km as during its first rego check ( 4 years in ) the checker guy was pushing buttons to find the odometer and managed to lose 50,000km. I have no idea how he did it ..... but it stayed lost. All he said was " well now it looks better doesn't it".  ;D ;D

My wife hit 20,000 miles (32000km) on her Comet 250 today.  Two track days and many miles of 8000+RPM highway running...total repairs are two sets of front brakes, one set of tires, one clutch cable, a battery, and replacing a seeping oil cooler line. (I figure it will need a chain soon.)  She still loves it, and has, other than a 2400-mile road trip-put as many miles on it as on her other bike.  Unless she's going 100+ highway miles or the weather is bad (or <65 degrees), she likes the Comet.

(Her other bike is a big Honda Pacific Coast.)
