Maybe temp is reading higher because the bike is running properly?
I dont know how much poor running would affect the temp though.. but before I fixed my intake leak mine was running hot and once i taped it up it ran cooler and then once i replaced the boot entirely it ran much cooler..

Could it work in reverse? Poor running = less heat?

good evening. I undid the extra ground, reconnected the rectifier to the wiring harness connector and kept a positive and negative lead for the battery. The voltage in post-key voltmeter increased, as it had not been for a long time. But I still think there is a failure in temperature indication ... today I identified a problem in the SAV valve, cracked housing and variations in amperage that reached 2.0amp when hot. And should not be more than 0.6amp. I blocked the AIS and I will test with and without load on the SAV connector (I installed lamp on the SAV connector to simulate a 0.54 / 0.6amp load)

It's the neutral bulb that went back on its own, and stopped working after I switched off the SAV ...
