I'm assuming there's a video but nothing is showing on my screen. But, if somebody is putting a turbo on a 650 then there was a green one in Australia, he had a build thread somewhere here on the forum and a few not so good videos on youtube, as he films through a dark tinted wind shield.

There's no videos.. yet.

As per usual though, I'll make sure there're plenty of pictures and lots of detail.

The basics are these:

I bought the green turbo bike, which is in a very very sad state. It's been painted white with a spray can it looks like.. It looks quite simply, terrible.

2nd gear is missing. Exploded. The clutch has been blown out and there are huge chunks of metal in the oil.

I recently bought a low km engine from SMP. Thanks SMP. The plan is to rebuild the existing engine with parts from the engine I just bought.

I cannot swap the engines completely, as there are some modifications made to the engine casing of the current engine to allow it to take extra boost.

The current EFI system is by microtech, but is old and less than ideal. It only does fuel and don't control spark. I want to replace it with a microsquirt ECU that can do both, but further, I want to be able to use a flex fuel sensor and create two tables fpr fuel and spark that the ECU can blend from, so that I can run the bike in Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde modes depending on if I am using e85 or unleaded fuel. Additonally, I want to use an electronic boost controller to allow the turbo to spool faster and once again use an idle control solenoid so that I don't have to stuff around with idle speeds manually. I want this to be an extremely easy bike to use.

Basics of what I have and what I want:

2007 Hyosung GT650R
Garrett T17 turbocharger
Plasma nitride surface hardened gearbox
EBC kevlar clutch, with a special 'hat' designed by MrEnforcer that adds extra push. <-- expecting this to possibly cause me some trouble.
Microsquirt ECU with programmable Bosch CDI and high energy ignition coils.
GFB electronic boost controller.
Oil cooler mod
Possibly twin radiator fan mod.
Air-air intercooler
A proper paint job.

Tempting. Space issues already though. Trying to keep entire setup concealed within fairings, bar perhaps the cone filter which will peek out a bit.
