Hey there we go!

So what I should test the RR and maybe the Stator too?

Stator sounds ok, but worth testing. The reg/rec is the most likely culprit.

Yer alright. Well I have the components on their way to upgrade the wiring for the RR and Battery Earth.

I'll test the RR and Stator soon... Glad I've got a long weekend coming up. :)

IMO it's worth biting the bullet and going for the following shopping list from http://roadstercycle.com :

The Triumph T2500676 Harness and FH020AA Reg/Rec package.

From your local auto parts store:

I upgraded the wiring however the error is still appearing, time to order the Mosfet RR I think.

Is there a reason you suggest the Triumph harness when there is a Hyosung package or did you just not see that?

I think I read somewhere about how to re-wire the triumph harness for a Hyosung but surely I'd just get the Hyosung one. :)

Yes, I know there is a Hyosung specific adaptor, but there's a reason I suggested the Triumph one.

The reason relates to the 'sistering' of wires to both the stock loom power connection and yet also have a new, thicker pair of wires going directly to the battery. The Triumph adaptor allows for this sistering to be performed more easily, and be removable more easily also.

It's a MUCH better way to do the job and if you're going to do it, you might as well do it right.

First ride to work today since the wiring upgrade and it seems to have noticeably improved the bikes throttle response and engine idle which is pretty cool. :)

My Mosfet RR came today.

So I swapped it out, went for a ride and no red light for the first time in ages!

Hopefully that's the end of that little saga.

Thanks hylife and umop-ǝpisdn for your help!
