Does it still have that cool two LED strip tail light arrangement?

I read a couple of comments of it just being an updated gladius with a different name. Come to think of it it does look like the same frame.

Cloud, I thought you ladies think that bandits are boring?

Different frame they had a gladius there too.

According to Suzuki there's 140 redesigned components, powers up weights down.

Naked bikes often polarise opinion; some women don't like bikes that are at all flossy, others aren't interested in bikes that aren't something special. The old SV was pretty cool, particularly the early TL follow-on ones with the tube-ish frame and the soft snout. But this, even with (or despite) the different engine setup, doesn't go too far from the classic Bandit image.

At the risk of being the old fogey of the group, this looks just the 'same old, same old' to me, and without the 'S' on the tank could be any jap bike - naked frame trying to look like a Ducati, a few bits of plastic at the headlight and (a huge bit at) the engine, oh, and stick a number on the side to make it look racy!  The exhaust is very big and sits low, and to be honest I think I'd just walk past this out on the road....... :-\ :-\

The SV always had a trellis it's just steel now.

I think finally the SV is better looking than the GT.

I'd never buy another hyo, but until now there wasn't a naked I liked the look of more.

Point taken, although I had an SV650S, the sports one.... and prefer the Hyo, but that's back to the old fogey, can't bend over the tank anymore, side of things!

I do sometimes wonder if buying the Hyo has led me up a dead end street, because selling it will be tricky in the UK, but what's done is done, so I just enjoy it and try not to look at anything else I'd like to have instead.... :-\
