Faired GD250R and naked GD250N listed for sale on the HyosungUK-co-uk website - if this is the bike/bikes we are talking about, would they do that if they can't get them?

I don't know! ;)

So this is still an argument?  ;D

I have sat on the "concept" and I like how light and small it is, I don't like how far it leans when you're parking it, guess they made the kick stand short for lowering the bike.

If it was true that these are just concepts sold for one year then there shouldn't be any faired versions as those came a year later should there? You can see a few owners on youtube.

let me enrich this first thread with some sublime quality photographs of these little bikes.

I've actually seen the blue one from a distance on the road near my work last week, finally they sold one, it's a 2014 model, the 2015/16 now have red frames and black wheels.

Anyways I'm waiting to see the 450 version, that sounds like fun.

Great looking bikes, felt quite small when I sat on one..... but a 450 in a slightly larger frame would have me looking!!!  :)

Hello from Korea, second post on this forum so be nice!

Hyosung have just unveiled the 450 version at the first ever Seoul motorcycle expo, so keep your fingers crossed!

Looks pretty mean.

I've been riding the GD250N (2014 model) since June 2015. So far after 20k kilometers my impression is that it is a far superior bike in build quality to the comet 250. Apparently they incorporated a lot of Japanese parts besides the Korean engine.

Heres a riding vid I made a few weeks ago when the cherry blossoms were out...

Like you guys I saw this bike available back home, but here it set me back only about 2500 dollars equivalent used.

Is the 450 the same engine as the 250 with a bigger bore/stroke? Like the GT125 is a smaller version of the GT250?

Or a totally different unit with nothing in common?

Honestly at this stage all I know is what it looks like. That it weighs 145kg and makes 50Hp.   At the show it was impossible to get to sit on the bikes even and mostly was a publicity thing with cute 'racing' girls standing around/ blocking access for photos etc. From what I can tell from the pictures the outside dimensions of the Head doesn't seem hugely different from that of my 250. Frame and various bits seem identical as far as I can tell including location of starter motor etc. (engine is a stressed member in both the 450 and 250 by the looks of it).  I can't say more without talking out my ass.   What I can say is if it's anything like the 250 you will be in for a treat.

Where are the photos of the cute racing girls then??  :) :) :)

That bike looks amazing to me, and given how good the 250 looks, I guess there's no reason why the 450 should change that much from these concepts! I'd be in the queue if it goes into production.....

Good to hear your report on how good the 250 has been so far too, nice to hear!

I'll get around to making a proper review sometime if you lot are interested. Surprised to find so little information on the bike.
