wiring harness
« on: June 15, 2016, 04:28:09 AM »

I am finally wiring up my aftermarket rear assembly and had an issue with the wiring harness.  Specifically I couldnt get the bike to turn over...no juice..nothing when I turned the key.   I poked around the wiring harness with a voltmeter and found a label on the harness near the starter solenoid (riders left side) that states "GT650".  I downloaded the Hyosung GT650 wiring diagram http://i.imgur.com/kA7KkIW.jpg  and sure enough it appears to match up to the majority of the fisher wiring harness layout.

It helped me identify the problem (didn't have the second positive battery cable attached.. duh!).   Now I am working on wiring up the aftermarket brake light/license plate light, should have everything finished up in the new week or so, will post pics when done

Sweeet! New Fischer pics are always a plus!

Welcome.

By the way, consider having a look at the reg/rec, if it's also a GT650 item.
