My GV650...
« on: February 08, 2017, 03:31:54 PM »

Bought it off of Craigslist for the princely sum of $300.

Washed it and cleaned it but the gas cap was bad and it was full of water (even before I washed it)

Sent it to the bike shop and had the carbs cleaned out, after I replaced the starter solenoid, key switch, gas cap, and other stuff, Painted the side covers to break up the mass of chrome and installed a backrest for the wife.

Was happy for a while until the starter blew up.

Bought a GT starter and a GT Fender from  mad8vskillz http://korider.com/index.php?action=profile;u=12512

Painted the front fender orange and black.

Then painted the gas tank and the rear fender as well to change the look (paint faded)

Today I pinstripe  everything with a 1/4 inch white stripe to accent it.

The GT fender suits it very nicely! How's it ride?

Man I can't help thinking that if you black all that chrome and silver shit out, that's one badass looking bike.
