650 clutches
« on: March 03, 2017, 04:56:51 PM »

I have successfully put gt 650 clutches in a gs500e this week. the GS is living well with the new blood.
Now, the 650's were a tad thicker has more contact patches than the gs so it's honestly probably an upgrade for the GS.
But I'm saying this because what I read the SV 650 clutch upgrade fits the gs500. With that said if Hyo doesn't have an upgrade the SV 650 should work.

I have not tried SV upgrades in the hyo I'm just putting a puzzle together from the forums.

Interesting info.

I also wonder if an SV clutch would fit.

Possibly if I find one cheap enough, I might try it on for size.

Actually your turbo bike kept poping up in my head as i was working on the bike.  The springs were different though.
