Bell,

Can't think of anything obvious.

Fundamentals I guess:

Check the idle speed control module and it's plumbing. You'll find it on the right hand side, attached to the chassis under the tank.

Check that the TPS is adjusted correctly. 1.09V is a good place to start.

Disconnect and bypass the side stand switch as well as the clutch safety switch.

If you can get it to idle at all, then start looking for vacuum leaks by spraying Aerostat or some other ether spray. Spray it at rubber joins and listen for a change in idle speed.

Hello lads, just an update, bike is still in the shop, we are narrowing it down to potentially the idle control solenoid or something of the like, i will have proper news for you guys very soon.

I just may add I ended up buying an 2008 SV650S for a good price which is a blast to ride, haha still love the hyo though I will make sure to end this thread with what the problem was!
