Hyosung 125 owners...
« on: April 04, 2017, 03:34:59 PM »

... has anyone bought these bikes only because none of the other 125's on sale are full sized? I know Honda has the Varadero but thats pretty much it. I'm myself 196 cm and after test sitting a gt125r the other 125's feel really small. I live in Finland and there's only two gtr's on sale! I'm 16 years old so getting a2 licence isn't an option at this time. The looks of the bike are stunning too. I'm hoping to get answers as I don't think Im the only one!

I bought mine because it was destined to be scrapped and I knew I could fix it. Little did I know...

There are faster 125's, there are more reliable 125's. Still, my other Hyosung 125 I sold was the best bike I've rode so far, and I rode that on a full license.

It's not the size, its weight. The engine and frame alone weighs more than a CG125  ;D. Which model's are the 2 that are on sale, new, last gen or the old style?

Two identical last gen 2014 gt125r's. Both have been collecting dust in the stores since then. And oh have the prices dropped on them😂

Yes.
My bike history is full of proper bikes that are 125.

I had a Virago 125 which is similar size physically to the Virago 1100, and an old Cagiva that shares its physicality with a Ducati of similar age.

I'm 157cm and I ride a jacked-up GT125R.

My bike supplier/mechanic (no longer a Hyo dealer though), has a white and red 2015 GT125R in his showroom and it looks fantastic - a real grown up motorcycle!!   ;)

There are faster 125's

Pretty sure mine is the fastest four-stroke 125 in the country. Possibly Europe.
