Need proper size of handle bars for heated grips on gv 650

so iv'e had my gv 650 for 6 yrs and driving late into the season my hands be a freezing , I want heated grips but am having issues finding the proper size of the bars some say 1" other say 7/8 now if its 7/8 on the left is the throttle sleve 1 " ? its a 2007 anyone know ? Also if anyone has gotten grips what kind did they get and whats the affect o the battery cause we all know the charging system kinda sucks .

7/8"

1" is for HDs/customs only.

I think the Oxfords say 40W max on the box. No way you could survive 40W without hurting yourself though. I use mine on the 2nd of 5 heat settings, so 10W tops I reckon.

Ok so the 7/8 oxford cruiser grips look tight and should fit over the throttle right side ? I'd hate to order them and it be the wrong size 😎
