A Fond Farewell From Scotland
« on: April 21, 2017, 06:06:46 PM »

As Robert Burns would have said -

Fare thee weel, thou first and fairest!
Fare thee weel, thou best and dearest!
Thine be ilka joy and treasure,
Peace, enjoyment, love, and pleasure!

The reason for this sentimental goodbye is.......... I traded in my Hyosung today and it is gone - so farewell my friends, and I hope your bikes continue to offer the enjoyment, and occasional frustration, that makes this forum such a great place to be!

It's replacement is a Honda CB500X, I have had a fancy for an "adventure" bike for a while, they are so easy-going and comfortable, and the offer today was just too good to refuse!!

Cheers for now! ;D

p.s. I never did have to replace that pesky rectifier!!!!!  ;)

Congrats AJC!

I hope the new bike serves you just as well and hopefully the old one will serve it's new owner equally well.

Your bike was definitely an exceptional one. If I recall, it's one of the rarer Mitsubishi ECU EFI bikes. A great loss to the community if the new owner doesn't have the same level of mechanical sympathy that you do.

Pop in from time to time and let us know how you're travelling.
