Gt650s handlebar conversion
« on: May 29, 2017, 03:20:35 PM »

Tuesday's dumb question of the day! No need for a long thread.

Hello fellow Hyo owners. I have a question regarding stock hyosung gt650s handlebars. Are they 7/8's? Im looking at replacing the stock bars and need to know if 7/8's will fit my instruments etc. Cheers.

I would be more concerned with the length of the cables... assuming you are going to clip on's

The Hyosung switch gear is kept in place, buy using buttons molded in the switch gear.
Not a deal breaker

This was when I first completed the change  ;)

Since then I have changed the screen ...... the cut down OE screen was fine around town but on M/way ( Highway... Freeway or whatever you call them  :) ) it caused a lot of buffeting on my head so bought a Skidmarx Double Bubble .  This has had to be trimmed back though otherwise the levers hit the screen when you turn lock to lock ( which in UK is a MOT failure  :( ) .

Also changed the mirrors too

Looks OEM!

I recall seeing some others and it looked quite out of place, as in the bars were WAY too high, but your bars seem to be that magical amount lower..

Do they have a brand/model?
