Big happy hello
« on: July 18, 2017, 03:30:27 PM »

Hi my names john and I'm new to the Hyosung scene, I've had many jap bikes in the past but I'm now after something different and I really want to try a Hyo. I'm loving reading posts and looking at all your bikes and it's making me want another bike more and more. Anyway just thought I'd say hello and what a brill forum and hope we can build a friendship on here. Cheers for now and catch you all soon.

Welcome John!

What bike did you end up getting, or are you still looking?

Hello Umop-apisdn I'm still looking for a Hyo gt125r. Had the chance of a Yamaha yzfr125 but after riding one I felt it wasn't for me as it feels small. I've sat on a Hyo and felt right at home on it so it pretty made my mind up that it was going to be a Hyo for me. What's your ride?

I've got a couple of Hyosung's, both are 650s. One is turbocharged and the other is working ;) hehe

I've only had the chance to ride it once and that one time it was only in 1st gear. The bike is somewhat plagued with gearbox issues.

The clutch slipped and I am kind of glad that it did. No one could have expected how hard that thing comes into power. ...and that induction sound. It sounded like it wanted to eat anything in front of it! I am eventually planning to fix the issues with it, but for the time being life is in the way.

I had a step by step build thread, with lots of pics, but then Photophucket decided to pull their dick move and I haven't had a chance to migrate my pictures to a more honest hosting service.

I'll be re-posting the pictures this wek some time I am hoping. Still haven't decided how exactly I am going to host the pictures.
