GV125 Carbs and airbox
« on: August 14, 2017, 11:26:09 AM »

Hi guys, I am trying to get my other halfs GV125 working. It was brought fully working a few years ago and got left. the carbs got gunked up bad and could not get firing on 2. I stripped and rebuilt the carbs and now its over revving as soon as it starts. I have had the carbs ultrasonicly cleaned and rebuilt but the garage, but still nothing, and now the slides stick. The garage also lost the airbox.

Has anyone got a set of carbs and an airbox please?

check:
your cables...
check to see if the intake clamps are not letting the throttle retract all the way back.

I'm going with #2.

Hi, Yes I am in the UK. Hampshire. I've freed up the butterfly and its all good, and ive run some 2000grit wet and dry and polished the channels with the dremel, and everything is smooth now.

I just need to clean the bowls and jets now. and try. I assume I need to plug the intake nipples while testing? as this will suck in too much air as well.
