pretty good
« on: August 16, 2017, 12:45:22 AM »

Our 1st bike is a 2006 Hyosung 250 so this might be a little outdated but the repair manual could be a lot more comprehensive.  The operators manual seems fine.  Also the fitment of the carbs and the airbox is pretty bad.  Makes you wonder about the engineering.  Other than that we're pretty happy with it.

Welcome mrcrum!

You needn't wonder about the engineering. ..the electricals will fail you well before mechanical failure ;)

There is a good collection of workshop manuals for the various models here:

http://hyosung.hu/download/pdf/letoltesek.htm

It's in Hungarian, but well laid out enough that you can figure it out. Parts catalogues at the top, workshop manuals below.

Thanks for the link.  Was already helpful.  went to the parent link and found a parts list that also gave the sizes for the bolts.  In Hungarian like you said but still helpful.
"Schraube f. Zylinderkopf G06x130SK12"
Thanks!!

It's basically a cheap piece of shite that goes well when you have fixed everything .
If my electrical apprentice had wired something up as badly as these things , he would have had a boot up his arse rather quickly and I am serious .
I actually enjoy working on them because there is so much to do and they are also put together in a simple way which is nice and easy  ;D .
