How To Derestrict Hyosung GT125?
« on: August 19, 2017, 11:17:19 PM »

Hey guys,
So I really want to know how to derestrict my GT125 2005, because it really feels that it can go faster, for now it just gets to 80km/h and starts "coughing". Thanks  :)

Give it a service. Mend it.

They should do 100KMh without modification.

You can do the service and fix the bike yourself.

You have not given much information to go off but following the service manual's checks will help you.

If you read the service manual you will find there isnt any. Your issue is not a restrictor issue but a fault or the fact its old. You will need to service it.

I'm going to guess that this is a carb set up issue.

There are no restrictions on the 125cc bikes.

The restriction is, as Cloud said already, the condition of the bike and it's level of tune.

If your bike is lacking power, a service may help.
