GV 650 coil replacement
« on: September 04, 2017, 01:57:51 AM »

Hello! I am a new user and a new Hyosung owner from the U.S. I need to know if there is an after market replacement for both coils on my 2006 GV 650. Any help would be much appreciated!!

timsmith,

Yes. Dynatek makes coils that will suit a 2006. Their DC10-1, while not plug and play, is easy to adapt and will last basically forever.

Google is your friend.
Brand new OEM units are only $30 each.
Why would you pay $160 each?

Welcome back Hylife!

That $160 is for a pair. Don't do what I did and accidentally buy two pairs. ..and the new OEM coils are worth about that. They're rubbish and will die in short order.
