Bent Gv handle bar fix- the ghetto way
« on: September 20, 2017, 02:35:50 AM »

So i bought a wreck gv(big surprize) it was wrecked on the brake side. Throttle side was lower than the clutch side. So i sold it and the kid wrecked it even more. Lol. So i bought it back.
I tried a couple different tools and nothing..
So thought about cutting a pipe at to wrap around the pipe. Was too lazy to cut it up.
So my thought was to hang a strap to the big tree branch lean the bike over and let the bikes weight bend it back. Epic fail!

So i wrapped a blanket around the controls...more for me than the bike.
Put my right foot on the muffler mounting point. Placed the handle bar across my back and pushed as much as i could. Took me 3 tries to get it back where it needed to be..
It freakin really sucked though... but worth the bruises im gonna have tomo. Hahaha

You know... I did think about the handlebar mounting bolts braking actually. But! When in the "I'm about to fix it" zone stupidity gets the best of you.
