GV650 Aquila Carb Edition Cracked Intake Boots
« on: October 17, 2017, 03:41:18 PM »

Dear motorcycle friends:
I own a 2009 GV650 Carb Edition and I have my intake boots cracked. I have difficulty finding the spares, as, for instance, the front boot is sold out in most of the Hyosung Spare dealers.
Does anyone know if the EFI intake boot is the same than the Carb intake boot? Or at least if the hose can be adapted to fit the carburetors?
Haven't anyone found a equivalent intake boot from another motorcycle that fits the front intake boot in the Aquila? Such as Suzuki V-Strom or similar?
Thanks in advance for any advice on the subject.

Make your own.
Visit an auto parts store and you will often find a range of rubber auto hoses which are the correct diameter and shape and can be cut down to size.

I would say the SV 650 carb boot would most likely be the same.

Thanks for the replies. I managed to buy the boot set from ebay USA, and now the motorcycle is up and running. Now I'm having troubles with the Diaphragm Assemblies, which need to be replaced as well. The part number is 13335HN9100. Doesn anyone know if the diaphragm from another motorcycle can fit? Thanks again for the support guys.
