I installed iridium spark plugs last year which did provide a noticeable performance increase over the 150 mile daily round-trip rides to work, easily maintaining highway speeds of 80-85mph. At 90mph the RPMs make me a bit nervous. I generally try to stick with a 91-93 octane.

For weight reference I'm 275lbs., and for wind resistance reference I have a small windshield and full saddlebags added to the stock 2012 GV250.

Depends how much you want to spend.

I've got custom re-profiled camshafts but the set of four cost more than the whole bike.
