09 FI
« on: October 27, 2017, 06:11:22 PM »

well bought my first GV with FI. RUNS LIKE CRAP!
It's one of those customer didn't want to pay for repairs. bike has 1500 miles clean as hell.
tank is different so IDK what up with that.
One of the first things I noticed is it has silver crank case and black cylinders and heads. This isn't a stock thing right... I find this really odd!!

I'm sure I'm going to need mucho help once I get into it.

changed the gas- no change.
injectors... next on the list.
coils-- shop said it was a firing issue(coils maybe) rear coil to be specific.

Heada and crank case have obviously parted ways in the past.

What if they messed up the cam timing when re-assembling?

my gv 250 have silver engine with black cylinders... it's from factory to my year model.

since i bought, i noticed some problems tha may ocur like rear brake missadjust that cause drag, air filter dirty, throttle body without synchrony, TPS sensor out of position and spark plugs connectors (or cables) damaged.

after check it go ahead by decode the FI code table.
