GV250DR & GV125S - Light At The End Of The Tunnel?
« on: January 01, 2018, 08:54:18 PM »

So, it appears that Hyosung were at Eicma this year, and they did show something as I found out today.

2018 Hyosung Aquila GV250DR:

2018 Hyosung Aquila GV125S Strider:

Both seem to have ABS, what do you think? Did they realize they're supposed to do their jobs to keep making money?

They also showed a GD125N which looks exactly like the 250.

Absolutely, and I wouldn't at all be worried about the quality. Qingqi are one of the better chinese manufacturers.

That was a tough read! I remember KR saying that the smaller capacity bikes will be made in China, but I didn't know KR itself was Chinese. My guess is they'll probably make everything in China. Would be tough for them to sell bikes, now that they will actually be Chinese and not just called that by people who don't know better, with the already bad reputation. I hope they do well, but I for one am happy that my bikes are two of the last Korean made bikes!

Well, Apple Iphones don't seem to do to too badly !! Not everything chinese is bad, just like not every japanese manfactured is great. Currently I have 3 chinese bikes, my Shineray XY400 (Mash 400) has over 10000 miles on the clock now, not had a single issue. Same with my CFMoto CF650TR, again over 10000 miles and no issues. However, my Zhongshen RX-3 has had numerous electrical problems, which is a shame, as when it's working, it works well.

Not everything is bad just nearly everything  ;).
The comparison  of the iPhone is inappropriate because the iPhone is not made in China.  The iPhone is assembled in China.  You could just as easily ship all of the parts, assembly and testing jigs, and production instructions to Vietnam, Italy, Mexico or any other country with the same outcome  ;D
Check mate I believe  ::)

The iPhone is assembled in China from parts made in... China. ..and with a Taiwanese CPU. ..which depending who you ask, is a special administrative region of..? China.

How's that check mate looking now?  ::)
