Transform 2005 GT650R into Streetfighter
« on: January 10, 2018, 04:10:07 PM »

Hi! I'm new to the forum. I live in Puerto Rico, a caribbean island property of the US, and I own a 2005 HYO GT650R that has been sitting on my parents garage for a few years now. Recently I'm seeing a lot of hype for customized bikes, streetfighters and bobbers. I've been thinking of taking the dust off of my Comet and transforming it into some kind of customized streetfighter. The thing is that my location makes it harder for me to find parts or mods for my bike because there aren't a lot of Hyosung bikes around here. I'm wondering if someone in this forum has taken a project like this, that can share some of the process with me.

American street fight is way different than across the water.
American = wreck your bike / can't afford to fix it. now its a street fighter. hahaha but true.

I sell a lot of GT naked bikes. I  like the stacked headlights. I still run mirrors and blinkers in the stock location.
It's not a "TRUE" street fighter where it's heavily modified. but for it me it's about getting the bike sold.
