Thanks  :)
Clears things up.
If you have any more pictures of your installation , that would be a great help and I am certain the guys would not mind you filling pages of photos of this brilliant job you have undertaken ;)
Well done  :)

But i don't have any others than whats listed, i just took a couple of snaps when doing it. Didn't document it all the way through.

My next mod is going to be interesting. still trying to work out the bar mounts but its gonna be fun.

So you basically split the ECU signal at the connector....took one side , through one set of diodes to the ECU and the other side , through the other diodes up to the display ?

Exactly like this, just i had the ecu diodes before the connector, but this diagram works best.

exactly  :)  :)
I have looked at some registers but they are far too complicated for what you need , you're right .
They include drivers and all sorts. Plus you would have to put 2 in for the few I have seen anyway .
Looking again , I may solder both sets of diodes after the connector , together and split the wiring at that plug .
Well done again.

Thats how i did my connectors.
1-6 = Gear Wires matching Pins 1-6
N = Neutral
A = In Gear (to Ecu Specifically)
+ = +12v Key On

Great  :)
Thanks again buddy .
Out of curiosity , what software did you use for your drawings ?
I used to use CAD but it's been so long , I would not have a clue now .

Smartdraw is pretty easy to use.

Tried a few others but some do some stupid things when you want to do something simple.

I will give it a go  :)
This is great having bike owners conversant with electrical and electronic systems .
Makes life so much easier  :) :)
PS do you have to pay for it or can you get via torrent ?
Surprised umpah is not here (hate trying to find hieroglyphics or symbols to type , for his name  :o) , he loves these sorts of conversations  ;)

As with most software you can find it in certain places if you look for it.
