2010 GT650R 10,000km--impound sale~~$700-$1100.
« on: January 18, 2018, 09:25:39 AM »

Hi all,

First of all, I have zero investment in this.
I'm simply doing this so one of you can get the bike cheaper. So some good can come of it.

I got my bike impounded for doing twice the speed limit.

I am giving permission to the police to dispose of it.
BUT there is a section on that form to
 IDENTIFY INTERESTED PARTIES.
I am submitting a form to declare the above.
This means that the police will want to get rid of it, with your name on the
WHO WANTS IT?  list.

About 10,000km on it.
4000km done on (genuine highway-only) restricted LAMS.
I then unrestricted it.
Basically no scratches at all. Red paint. Fairing is in my garage.
Oil Leak on 1 fork tube.
Free brake pad kit.
1 tooth smaller front cog. 1 tooth larger rear, not long ago, along with chain.
Good rear tyre, bad front one.
Front tyre has a very slow leak.
400 CCA high quality battery.
MOSFET RR with double heavy wiring and earth.
Stator I put a second hand OLD model Kawasaki as it was just available at the time, and now needs replacing- I can give details/instructions.
Oh it has an exhaust leak in the rear AIS pipe - sounds like shit and pops.
Just did that (bent it) recently when I changed the clutch cable.
Coffee stain on the (std.)muffler.
New fuel pump and non clog mesh.
EFI in line fuel filter added.
There is still a couple of stray wires I put in to take signal measurements from the MAP sensors.
New TPS.
It is out of tune at the moment, -- I was in the middle of it when I had to put it back together and go on a trip.
I have a thing where I am quite unmotivated so I haven't tuned it.
BUT I can tell you exactly how to tune the throttle bodies, (balance, closed sync, ensureWOT sync with cable /linkage., throttle idle stop, and the infamous TPS.
And reconnect the IAC valve.
Can be tuned to lift the front wheel at the lights, although it is not currently. (Fuel consumption)
Needs oil change. Free hi flow filter.
Has high quality oil in it.
Platinum plugs.
The headlights are unplugged. Just need to plug them back in. (Bad stator)
Minor headlight is still connected.
1 mirror broken off. (Not dropped. Leant against something in garage.)
Everything works.
Really dirty headlight / visor.
Needs a wash.
Clutch plates may need replacing in 5000km.

Phew!

Any questions?!

Man. I wish I wasn't on the other side of our very large continent.
