Most Modified Comet gt250R (in Brazil)
« on: January 18, 2018, 02:52:01 PM »

Hey there guys, I found an old post of mine from back when I had just gotten the bike. I decided to keep it, but I wanted it to be different from the ones I saw around town. So I got to work on it.

Mod List ( Probably forgot something) lol  ;D

  • Swing arm widened to fit a CBR 900 rr Rear wheel 5.5" wide.
Plastics removed to make it Naked
    KTM Duke Headlight installed
    Full custom made Exhaust system
Removed all unnecessary Sensors. SAV selenoid, clutch sensor, side resting sensor..etc
Chopped subframe, custom made sub frame to fit a yamaha XJ6 seat.
LED strip tail light, with integrated turn signals.
Air filter changed for one with a better flow.
handle bars move about the triple tree and fliped sides ( much better position)

Nuff said, here are some pics! I also have a YouTube channel but its all in Portuguese.

the above pictures are all recent.... these bottom ones are old.

Riding position is much more comfortable.

LED tail light is easy to spot it in this picture

thanks for everyone that check out my post. if you guys have any question just leave them down below, and if your Comet is also modified please post a pic  ;D

How did you tackle the chain offset for the different wheel?

It was a lot of work, but we were able to do it by adjusting the width of the spacers that goes on each end of the axle, that way the chain was kept straight on both sprockets. we kept machining the left side spacer (chain side) until it was perfectly aligned.

Like most beautiful things from Brazil, your bike has a lovely bum.

What bike is that wheel from? ..and do you remember the spacer measurements?

I agree with you on that too..... it has a nice rear end... but the wheel is from a cbr 900. the whole thing was done about 5 years ago, so i dont really remember the measurements from the top of my head lol
