new bike
« on: February 09, 2018, 01:12:15 PM »

I will be looking at getting a new bike over the weekend .
I will be keeping my beast of a Hyosung but looking at getting a GSXR 600 or 750 .
I am torn between the two so need some help in deciding if you guys and girls don't mind .
Just give me your thoughts but remember , I am keeping my baby and will be here for a long time yet  :)

Anyway , had plans to see two 750's and a 600 today .
In the meantime , saw an ad for a Hyosung GTR650 EFI and thought , may as well have a look . it was advertised for $2700 but the guy sent me an SMS telling me I could have it for $2400 because he was pissed at being messed around so went to see the bike , it looked good but still wanted a GSXR . When I told him I would give it a miss , he said , "how about 2000"  :o
Had to have it for that price and now I have 2 Hyosungs but the GTR will require some TLC on the fairings and paint job on the pegs but it's not too much. I have completed my work on the GT650 so this gives me something to do  ;D
It's 2010 and has 11000 K's . It is also a lams so first job is DE-restricting it .
It is red but you can't have everything .

Exhaust swap to the black bike?

..watch out though, carbon cans are not so great on v-twins, they eventually fail due to flexing.

Very Nice, I've always been fond of red on the R model.

Whats the list of upcoming mods going to be ??

A good buy there mate.
I must admit, I do prefer these in white though. The good thing about bikes though, is it's easy enough to strip off the parts and respray compared to a car.

Paint all the pegs black. LED indicators . Fit a smart brake and indicator module .Lower the bike with dogbones and adjust triple trees .
Shorty levers .
That is it for now but it looks good for an 11000K model  8)

I am thinking that .
The Two Brothers does sound sweet and it would look good on the red bike.

That's exactly the GSXR that I would go for.
