Places for Hyosung parts
« on: February 13, 2018, 12:18:01 AM »

Thought I would start a thread with a list of sites that people can check out for their Hyosung parts .
I think it best if you only post a site link that you personally have had business with and been happy with the service .
You could also post information such as , delivery times , price of parts , variety of parts etc .
I won't post anything here until the mods OK the idea because this thread would be an ideal opportunity for spammers .

Sounds good to me.

Where you buy parts from can often be affected by where you live though.

i.e http://hyosungparts.asia is good for Aussies, but would cost a testicle in freight to the UK.

Agree but we have to get some rules in place to protect against spammers (maybe limit it to peeps who have made a certain number of posts , a low number but it will stop them from just popping up with a single post or two ). We could also specify that people only post sites that they have had dealings with and are happy with the outcome .
Just a few ideas to help protect people.

Pretty good eh Albert  :)
AliExpress is not no there .
Could be an idea to copy and paste all the sites onto one thread with one post and make it a sticky .
Very good link BTW  :)

Where do we all stand on the subject of goods being advertised on korider?

If I may be a little annoying and ask people to be more specific in their answers.

I'll go first if it helps:

I do not mind if a regular forum member posts items for sale. Chances are, I'd be a prospective buyer. In fact I would go so far as to say that I also wouldn't care if the items for sale were not only not Hyosung specific, but even not motorcycle specific. I welcome commerce from regular contributors. I spend hours on eBay and I love a good shop session. I can't think of exact specifics, but I for example welcome Albert and Oleg selling parts. If Cloud wants to sell art? Hell yes. If however someone, wanted to start charging for advice, I would NOT be down with that.

I do not mind if a person who is not a regular contributor has Hyosung specific items to sell. e.g. the dude who bought all that Fischer surplus. My only regret is I didn't get more stuff from him.

It does sort of rub me wrong when I see someone(thing?) like Andrew Lynn. Now, it's a motorcycle related product. It's a New Zealand company, and I like that. I like buying stuff sold by real people. ..but is that a real person?

I would probably not be too accepting of someone who isn't a genuine forum contributor advertising unrelated products.

Does this sort of explain my point of view?

...on this one specific thing, I am torn. I am having an ethical dilemma. If someone asked me if I wanted to see a New Zealand motorcycle gear retailer succeed, it would be a resounding yes! There's just something I don't like about the approach here. Opinions please.

It is probably just a bot .
I don't like the idea of someone , because even it is a bot , targeting a forum just to sell products , no matter where they are from or what they are selling .
If somebody was a genuine Hyosung enthusiast and had a side line selling motorcycle goods , all well and good as long as he contributed to the forum and was not just here to sell .
I would buy off any forum member that I know has had a beneficial impact on this forum and was posting on a regular basis .
That's just the way I see it .
