All they have to do is cover their arses in a legal situation. For a learner messing with their throttle stop, their funeral is their own to arrange.
Pretty hard for them to arrange their own funeral from the side of the road , dead or are they supposed to arrange it before they go riding ?

I don't know about the GTR, but the GT is quite easy and forgiving, I learned on it just fine and the power wasn't overwhelming, but I guess someone that's completely ham fisted could get themselves into trouble.

I actually own both bikes and although the GTR is better on the twisties , the power is EXACTLY the same  ::)
The GT wins hands down though , in every respect  , except if you fancy yourself as Valentino coming into/out of a corner and then this bike is just not up to it although you may be fooled into thinking it by the looks of the GTR , BIG MISTAKE ;D

Sorry I didn't explain very well, yes power wise both are the same and I feel they're fine for a learner, but the more aggressive seating position on the GTR would make it a little bit harder to learn how to maneuver and handle your bike, that's why I'm guessing that the GT is better for a learner, when I got my GTR I've already had about six months of riding under my belt.

The GT is a lot easier to ride and maneuver .
You are right in a way , the GTR would be harder for a learner to pass their test as opposed to a GT .
This comes down to a lot of things , turning circle ,seating position , being upright as opposed to crouching over a fuel tank .
They are fun to ride though  8)

Same bike. the only differences that aren't cosmetic are the bars and pegs.
