Gear shift stopper
« on: April 05, 2018, 08:36:58 PM »

I was going to drain the oil on my gv 125, and i managed to take out the wrong bolt.. stupid.!

A spring and a bolt came out..
How do i refit this? Is it just to insert it again, bolt spring and plug? Or have i done something realy stupid?

Hoping for fast reply. Thx

Dont change gears!

So long as the shift lever hasn't been pushed, I think you can just put it all back in again.

Put the bullet-lookin' thing in first, then spring, then bolt it up.

While it's out, don't change gear, don't start the engine, don't touch the clutch.
