You should research how to put your ECU into diagnostic mode. Also called 'dealer mode'. It will output a code. The code is sometimes a series of flashing lights, or sometimes a number on the dashboard.

This number is a code for what the ECU is noticing as being abnormal. If you can find the code, we can translate it for you.

Why do you say fuel injection issue ?
There are numerous issues that could give you a fault light .

Try charging up the battery using an external smart charger.

Lead acid batteries self discharge at a rate of 1% per day.
Two months of no riding and you are down to half charge.
A low voltage will upset the readings from various sensors to the ECU.
Once the FI light is triggered it will remain on even if the error no longer exists, until you turn the key off and back on again which clears the error codes.
If the error still exists after the key on-off cycle the FI will light up again.

Battery seems fine..but will charge externally as you say.... thanks

I'm sure there is a link kicking around with all the ECU codes and if you can't find it, suggest giving upside_down a PM. He will know for sure.
